The location of the hotel is in the heart of a city. The ambience has a charm of a heritage property. We stayed for 4 nights there and there was not a single instance of disappointment. The food and beverage service and housekeeping service are impeccable. They have given so much of personalised attention to our kid and his fooding preference as well. The buffet spreads are awesome too. A must recommend for a leisure or business trip.

Wonderful experience..the staff were courteous.breakfast platter was having variety with live egg and dosa counter , non veg chicken sausage and bolied egg , 2 local preparations ,lots of variety in juices, and several others.housekeeping staff were always ready to help ,specially pabitra.

The rooms were extremely disappointing — the purple walls and overall condition made it one of the worst stays I’ve had. Please don’t rely solely on online reviews. The only saving grace was their restaurant, which served good food. I definitely won’t be staying here again. They have cheated us, we have paid 30K for 3 nights. The room is not worth even 1.5K per night

We stayed in Hotel Polo Towers twice 1st on 11th Nov while going to Cherrapunjee and next on 13th on return. The services of the hotel were excellent. All the staff right from front office to housekeeping and in Dining/Breakfast were pleasing manners greeted us with a smile. The rooms were tidy and well maintained. However this is a old property but situated in the heart of the city. Well maintained ambience. The dishes both in breakfast and dinner were delicious..we tried the local soupe Thupka which was awesome. Overall the food was delicious. One should enjoy the stay in this hotel. Overall experience was excellent..

we stayed here for 2 nights.The room is good and we had a nice sleep because of the cold shillong weather.it was sunny but there was no nice view from the hotel window.The food was good but in dinner there was not much options for non vegetarians.There should be atleast some starter.The breakfast is very good at Tring Tring with a lot of options.we specially enjoyed the Khasi food ..it was so good..also he fresh buns were tasty and i enjoyed the dosa which was well made.The location is good but it is very crowded and there is a lot of traffic jam in front of the hotel.The lobby is very nice with the pictures of the different personalities who visited polo from time to time.The service is good and special mention of the driver who dropped us to the airport .He was very nice ,stopped near umiam lake for a photostop and told us so many things about shillong.

Very bad experience at hotel. Very small rooms. Even staff is not cooperative. Food is very bad. Chef is also not friendly. Better to book other hotel in Shilong. There is no enough space for extra bed.
